Seven weeks of pre-made Morning Time plans loosely based around a seasonal theme. Bring beauty (and fun!) to your homeschool with poetry, fine arts, nature study, good books, and so much more — all prepared for you with your choice of a grid or loop schedule to follow.

Product Description

We took all the hard work out of planning Morning Time!

The plans include seven weeks of Morning Time activities all loosely based around a seasonal theme.

Designed for grades 1-6 the plans can easily be adapted to include preschool to adult age groups.

Topics and subjects included in these plans are:

  • Prayer – prayers from Scripture
  • Memorization – Shakespeare
  • Music appreciation – hymns and hymn variations
  • Math – symmetry
  • Picture study – Currier and Ives
  • Art – lithography and resist tutorials
  • Nature Study – animals and the cold
  • Picture books – fabulous selections to accompany the subject areas
  • Read Alouds – two great chapter books scheduled for you to choose between

I enjoy the simplicity of the plans. It is totally open, gather, and go!

Having the plan all worked out enables me to jump right in and be really intentional about our time together.

These Morning Time Plans may have saved our homeschool year. I spent a couple hours over the Christmas break requesting library books, lining up supplies and making us each a binder, and January 2 it was literally open-and-go. My kids are LOVING the library books I “unveil” each day to accompany the different topics we uncover. All the other plans I’ve tried get thrown out when I “fail” to adhere to the “schedule,” lose track of what day we’re “supposed to be on,” or run into a supply we don’t have on hand that I wasn’t warned about. (Can you tell I know better, but I beat myself up anyway?) The loop schedule gives me permission to work at our pace. We do a separate Scripture study, prayer, memorization plus our Classical Conversations memory work added, and read aloud every day, and then however many additional topics we can get to– generally between one and three. Each time we complete a “loop,” we have a reward set up. This first time it will be a sledding day. Pam, I cannot thank you enough for a pretty, practical, complete, grace-bent tool. Levi, Ben and Noah at Snips and Snails Classical Education from Home thank you too! Just please say you’ll keep writing these plans for about 16 more years; we couldn’t live without them. 😉 <3
